gauging interest
why does every for sale thread lately start with this in the opening line then procede to have prices.
it for F***ing sale...............no need to write the "gauging interest" boll*cks every time

nope in both.
If you stick a price your not gauging interest,
if you put a price, somebody pays said price for item, item is sold
this is how "for sale" works
gauge this

Wasn't that as a result of a thread initially posted to 'gauge interest'

We both know the 'gauging interest' is a veiled reference for 'I am selling something but either A. Can't post in the relevant section or B. Want to stick it in the wrong section to ensure greater exposure and ascertain if it's worth creating a for sale ad or paying to advertise in the right section!'

yup and that's my point.
just write its "for sale"
gauging interest means its overpriced but to avoid p1ss taking ill see if anyone wants it for the price I want to sell it at.
