400bhp sti
Hi, im sure this has been asked a hundred times but ive got to ask again.....
Ive got an 53reg sti ppp running all standard at 305bhp
Im wanting 400bhp, what mods do i need?
I would settle for 370-380bhp if its a lot easiler
Thanks

[QUOTE=MattyB1983;11043500]So you gained 40bhp just by adding a front mount, you sure ??
What turbo you using ?[/QUOT
no i changed the down pipe aswell - there is a vid on here somewhere and on standard turbo. When the vid was posted i was told the usual that it cant be correct as standard turbo wouldn't have it - so i went to 2 other RR and got very similar results. The thred is on here somewhere !

Strap a bigger blower to it, fully de cat it with a harvey uppipe and a decent panel filter. The Sti pink injectors should cope up to 400 give or take, you can add a fpr to it to try and eek a bit more out of them so they are not working 100% flat out and a good map should see 370 - 400 depending on turbo used etc
If you went for something like a sc42 then you may want to consider swapping your top mount for a fmic and adding in a cold air feed with a set of injectors to get the best from it, other wise drop down a size on the blower to cope with the what you have In place and save a few £££'s
It all depends on what you want from the car, pub numbers or quick "get up and go" spool from lowdown
