Mate of mine sold his car on eBay, agreed to exchange cash for car at Darlington railway station.
Bloke phoned when he got on the train, my mate went to the station 2hrs later, train came in, no bloke!
He never heard from him again.
There's some right strange ******* about.

not really sure posting peoples personal phone numbers up is fair, you dont know the reasons why he didnt attend and until then its a bit unfair to ask him to be bombarded with random calls.

EBay needs to get its **** together....

Cred card + PayPal = Ebay account (total liability)

There should be fines on EBay for wasting peoples time....

I've had two debt collectors letters at my address, both for sellers owing E-Bay fees. The one used to live at my address, the other not connected, buy I did buy a property that used to be a rental property.
E-Bay didn't want to know & said they couldn't do a search on registered addresses on their system in order to ensure that noone else was using my address.
The debt collection agencies were helpful when I spoke to them though.
