Carrying on on a theme

Hi chaps and chapesses ,I think. Anyway, having read some of the other posts on here, I felt that I ought to put fingers to keyboard. Now I fully respect the subaru Impreza turbo in the many variants that the car comes in. Whether it's a grey import or a UK300. Very nice cars BTW (not too keen on the new shape though).
The one thing that strikes me is that most people (not tarring everybody with the same brush) have made a poor attempt at whitty retorts regarding some of us vauxhall owners. Now, if I had the choice (money no object) I would probably have a Rally spec 22B in my garage. As this is obviously not the case and my interest lies with vauxhall I don't really appreciate being labelled a 'Max Power School Kid'. As I don't have a peco big bore 4 etc nailed to my car, I don't go speeding next to schools and rev my engine like the devil posessed, you lot really do have blinkers on. Just because some prat in his 1.2l clapped out nova drives like a complete prat, doesn't mean that we all do.
My car is by no means perfect as I'm sure that some of the scooby owners on here will admit about their own cars (probably only to themselves, afraid of loosing face). I'm sure that Subaru's suffer with problems too aswell as any vauxhall, ford etc.
I do actually own an astra (ashtray as someone on here will undoubtably call it) that would put some of the owners on here to shame, but that's not my point. Yes, I have spent a small fortune modifying it, but then that's what I wanted to do, each to their own, just like yourselves on here.
I do like to drive my car fast, as I'm sure everybody on here does. (what's the point if your not going to us it to it's full potential, you might aswell have bought a nissan micra). But the sort of attitude on this web site has made me very glad that I don't own a scooby as I would be ashamed.
Obviously the chappie who started all this nonsense shouldn't have done, but it achieve it's goal. Wound you lot up a treat, far too easily. But then I guess you will always get people who will always want a slagging match. I'm always up far a good laugh, but even when a socalled moderator has to resort to swearing on his own board... Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.
Dont' know really why I'm bothering to write this, as I'm sure it will be shot down in flames, oh well.
Now that you have enjoyed looking down you noses and have finished making wetting yourselves laughing at this thread, let the whitty comments commence.
P.S. I only logged onto the site because I was interested in Subarus. Just wanted to see what was about. Am not Impressed. However, goodluck with whatever car you've got.

No witty comments mate, you make a lot of sense.
Come on people, we all like cars and enjoy each and every one for its own particular reason. Yes we all don't like the irresponsible people that nail it past a school at kicking out time, but the world would be a boring place if we all liked the same stuff.
Be individual, modify what the hell you want and how you want, but above all, enjoy your car and let others enjoy theirs.....
Hell, I ain't ashamed to admit I've had a renault 5 campus , vauxhall astra 1.6 , ford puma (and all the hairdresser jokes to go with it) and now a MY00 UK Scoob. All the cars had their plus and minus points including the Scoob.
I like my car and can appreciate other peoples, just wish everyone was more friendly like today, saw a smashing escort cossie on the way home, we both gave each others motor an eyeing over with a bit of respect and carried on
Have fun in your cars people and be safe

Give it a rest.
If you don't want flaming, don't come on this board, use your own.
I don't go around posting on the Vauxhall site or likes saying your car is crap and other such drivel......
So leave it be..........

Leave it Michelle Whilst you are here and not commanding muppetdom, did you ever find out what the stuff is made of in your back window (had a peek when your baby was under repair at TSL)?
Interesting to see a lot of Newbie's appearing. The news about Scooby baiting is obviously spreading like wildfire and becoming a general past-time

Hi all! First off I'm a Vauxhall driver too. I wouldn't mind a Scooby, but the insurance is a joke and so are scoob prices, so for now I must settle for a VX. I take it the owner of the P1 was unhappy with it?
