Default Weather in the valleys?

Guys, I notice that some owners are from differing parts of Wales, does anyone live around the Tredegar area, I'm travelling up there 2morrow and wondered what the roads are like, and, if the local forecast is predicting snow in the area.
Thanx.

I live in the Brecon beacons, my mrs travels to brynmawr everyday(just up the road from Tredegar) they re opened the school she teaches in today, however side roads are supposedly pretty crap and they have tonight forecast more snow, some 10cm possibly, so I'd be cautious. She mentioned something about trafficcam website, supposedly a god source of road conditions on the route your travelling.

Hth

I've just gone on bbc weather and tapped in Tredegar, not looking good for 2morrow, at least the early part of the day.
Might have to postpone my visit.
Thanx.

Mrs just had a text off one of the girls in work, hammering down over there (with snow) , mightn be a bad Idea to leave it till mid morn as by the looks of it they'll need to clearr the roads..

Had a couple of inches this morning , still snowing and the mrs has been contacted to not go into work today over brynmawr, so, in a nutshell, I'd say leave it for another day!

Yea leave it if you don't need to travel there, I'm 5 mins from there and its white here, people getting stuck all over the place I was almost one of them, considering the forecast said clear with light patchy snow lol and now apparently there is more on the way through today and again tonight

Didn't bother today after all your reports, probably not bothering 2morrow either after looking at the forecast, might chance it on Thursday.

Right been there about half hour ago and the main roads in are pretty good to be fair, however some of the side streets are full of snow with not a lot of movement.

So I think you will be ok as long as you take it steady you will more than likely get where you need to go.

I have also checked the weather with the met office and no further snow is forecast, and the main roads will only get better..

Thanx for that, all we need to do now is get off the hill where we live, it snowed all night here from about 6 o'clock last night, hopefully 2morrow will be the day to get down there.
