Wow that is very low indeed.
Very difficult to put a price on it as its so rare to find one with that miles, infact I think you would struggle to find another at all.
Gotta be worth upwards of £7500 I'd of thought. No doubt the car is like new both mechanically and condition wise.
May even bring alot more money to the right person.

Sorry guys but still had to deal with near on 10 years of our UK roads and fine English weather. I wouldn't hold it in much higher ground than any similar year car. Think about it for the same money you are throwing out there you can get a newer 05 model with the revisions with full history etc sorry but mileage isn't everything

No, mileage isn't everything but it does play a huge part in car value. To say its still had to endure 10 years of UK roads is wrong, it's had to endure 13K miles of Uk roads which is totally different.
Maybe you can get a better model for similar money but not with anywhere near the same miles. Many people would much prefer an older car with few miles over a newer car with average miles.

I agree Matty. The car has never been out in winter, yes rain in summer but no grit and grime,he only ever taxed it for the " summer " six months

You can't compare it to other cars, it's worth what YOU are willing to pay. If its the model you want then one with so few miles is perfect for you.
In my opinion, if it comes for circa 7 grand you've done well but if you really really want it then go for it and pay a bit more. You won't come across another that's for sure.

there are good and bad points about the low milage cars, people seem happy with 'lady owner' and 'low milage'
all that means is it starts up and drives 1 mile to drop the kids off at school, another mile to the shop, then 2 miles home. never warmed up, so with cold oil not giving full protection to the engine
i would rather have a 100k car that has spent it's life at 2.5k rpm sat on the motorway, than a car that has been used on short journeys all the time
but it's got to be worth £7k+

Not every low miler has had that life.
Some people buy these cars as a weekend toy so miles will always be lower. My car for instance, only does around 2000 miles a year tops and that's always warmed up perfectly. Never gets a short trip to the shops for instance.
I'd much prefer to buy a low miler owned by someone who used it as a weekend toy over a 100K car used daily.

We bought a 17k miles 5 year old Fabia VRS which has had more problems in the last year than our other VRS has covered 175k. I'll never buy a mega low mile / low use car again!

Agreed - in my case we bought from the car people so couldn't vet the previous owner. I believe the car was a town runabout and never saw an m'way. Out high miler has been a m'way car for most of it's life and touchwood @ 8 years old and 175k, it currently is on it's original battery, exhaust, clutch, gearbox and believe it or not - only it's second set of brakes. The current front discs and pads have done 100k
