Default Spoiler Change On My Spec C

I'm putting my MY04 Spec C back to how it should be by removing the STi front bumper plus the S204 carbon fibre rear Spoiler, and fitting a WRX front bumper and rear spoiler as correct for the MY.

I've got the WRX bumper ready to go and tonight I picked up an NB-R rear spoiler from a friend to just use the WRX spoiler but now I'm thinking about fitting the spoiler complete with the lower riser section. I'm not 100% on fitting it complete, but this is a very rare option only standard on the NB-R and the look is growing on me.

What do you think of the below, it's not to everyone's taste but we all have different tastes.

I think the standard spoiler without risers would look better.

The riser would un-spec c your spec c. Without it IMO.

I don't mind the riser on a NB-R, but not for a Spec C, and since you're putting it back to how it should be, that would mean no uncessary add ons.

I prefer it without the risers as well or even better with a slimline spoiler ala A-line.

I was always 75/25 in favour of not using the riser section, a small part of me likes it but the overwhelming part of me says just use the low spoiler and that is what I am going to do.

I do like the spoilerless look but I like the spoiler more, when I first had the car it had no spoiler and I'm sorry but I had to get one fitted - now anyone want to buy my Kakumei S204 CF spoiler?

I really like that spoiler and was going to go down that route had I not found a decent S202 replica for sensible money

Looks good Ty. One day I may go back to the low level spoiler. Though Ido like the dragster spoiler less look too!

Unfortunately or not when the spoiler was removed from the riser it was found that a previous owner (not the guy I bought it off) had done a botched repair thus making both sections only good for the bin.

I'm now considering going for a lip spoiler and getting the holes filled in, I still have the option of fitting another WRX spoiler, but where can I source a good quality lip other than an A Line spoiler?

As I don't want to pay in excess of £320 plus taxes and shipping for what is in effect a moulding.

I'm not offended in the slightest as we all have differing tastes, plus it was always going to be a small chance of using the riser section.

I would love an S202 spoiler again, I'm not sure about how much I'd want for the S204 spoiler but it's not an original item. It is a very good Kakumei replica and I think it looks good in carbon fibre but of course it could be repainted.

I'm not too unhappy that it's unusable if I'm 100% honest, but it's a shame nonetheless as it's probably the rarest factory spoiler as I think that only 100 cars had these spoilers given the limited run of the NB-R auto Bugeye models.

For posterity here is a link to the A Line / Sti Limited lip spoiler, it's just a shame it's so bloody expensive.
