Impreza Forums, which ones...
Just wondering apart from here,
Which other Impreza based forums everyone uses and why?
should be interesting to find out which ones serve purpose for different reasons.
also which ones you just view posts and which are you members with and post
regards nathan

This is my first post but I wanted to reply lol. I just browse these forums usually. I post on the BABS forums because they are local for me. Also, I browse and post on one of the biggest Impreza forums I know of (not sure if it really is the biggest) www.nasioc.com . I also browse www.iwsti.com from time to time.
Cheers!

well interesting to see many use local clubs which i dont for some reason dont know why....
i use..
type ra.co.uk spot on model Knowledge wise for the rare jdm models great friendly members too.
22b.com for general genius when it comes to the mechanical side of things and very helpful
scoobynet.com for general browsing and for sale section and a laugh
lancerregister.com as i attend the sprint series rounds and they organise it
great to see what everyone else is using and why, might even pop in on a few of your choices and have a look round

Sorry to hijack , but what would be a good forum for me to start using that's local to me in Oxford? Bar the two Scooby's in my local car club I've not managed to really find an Impreza forum / club that's really close by.
I use the P1WOC a little bit , but mainly keep myself to myself on there.

Shame no one has mentioned http://www.subaru-impreza.org/forum/
No idiots on there like on here, though it has become quiet since the Scooby exodus over the past few years

I mainly use ScoobyNet as the For Sales and Technical section are second to none. The banter and the arguements are also very good.
I am trying to use TypeRA more and more these days as the people (like Nathan) are very helpful and it has a good community spirit.
My local club is fantastic DSOC.co.nr, very helpful and great banter with good meets and great friends - a proper local club.
I also use Southern Subaru but that is mainly to keep in touch with friends from the Dorset Scoobys (RIP) days. Good banter but not much technical support or advice. Quite a close knit of people but very welcoming. They like to get creative with the body-kits and paintwork and do lots of static displays and raise money for charities.
Hampshire Subaru is also very good for techincal things and have met a few of them through cross border excursions.
I also lurk on 22b and ImprezaSport.net (Mrs has a Sport!). Most of the stuff on 22b goes way over my head but is interesting reading.
