iam sure this is not right?
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...ge/1?logcode=p
iam now looking for a sport as i cant afford the fuel on a turbo, ive come across this, now its a classic with a pre face lift so that would make it 93-96?
also its a classic
ive spoke to them and its coming up as a 2002 51 reg
its got a 51 plate but they didnt make sports that age,a 51 would surely be a gx?
anyone solve this one,the car its self is straight and that but another issue is the interior, the dash is out of a newer later classic, but its got a pre facelift front end?
issue......

Its a classic sport mate, i had a 51 plate sti v3(1997)?? The Dvla issued some with the wrong plate in 2001 so there are a few that are plated as a 51 plate. If you ask the seller he should be able to tell you from reading the V5 log book.

Careful! Post 99 = road tax hike! Check it out! ... I was going to buy a very well priced P1 on a '51 plate till I realised insurance is double that of my 99 Type-R !!!

It's obviously a late registered face lift classic which someone has tried making into a turbo look a like. They have just used preface lift bonnet and grill for some reason, (probably cheaper).
2001 classic are quite common so a 2002 isn't that strange, probably sat on dealers forecourt unregistered for a while.
