only had my V4 impreza one month and already replaced all the front engine sensors due to so called specialist advise only to still have the check engine light on.... So yesterday i removed the blanked off bonnet vent plate to let more engine heat out then drove car for 60 miles and the engine light hasnt come on once since! I wonder how many others have parted with their cash because of bad advice from certain garages that make alot of money from performance car owners!

I have now taken my whole bonnet off, car runs like a dream and no fault codes either.
true there must be a probelm somewhere.. Maybe a dodgy wire made worst when heated up but drove another 30 miles with no probs so happy for time being.
yes.. Replaced crank.. Cam sensor as codes were there then had ecu reset.. Last week had it checked again and then flashing water temp.. Knock.. Mass air fow sensors... Ive since reset it again since taking vent plate off and nothing! So weird!
