mmmmm what to do
I don't no what to do.....
I want to get a scoobie, had a few sports, and few turbos in the past, had 2 sell due to reasons I won't go in to,iam now looking to get another,I'd love a turbo again but my current insurance on a little polo doesn't finish till november, I no what everyone will think sell polob buy a turbo and switch it over, but admiral will not touch a turbo....well they will but its 2500 grand,I've been thinking do I just get a sport insure it with them which they are happpy to do for cheap or drive round in my polo go elsewhere in novemeber when the policy is up and get a turbo, being only 25 with 2 years ncb, will be 3 in nov doesn't help
Sport now.....cheap to run all the looks for now
Wait til november get the proper thing but will cost me..........

only you can decide, a few on here will say turbo turbo turbo...im 44 been driving since 17 and i drive a sport , looks and sounds just like a wrx..fast enough for what i want, great handling..good in snow etc...and alot cheaper to run than the real deal and of course is ultra reliable...but that's just my opinion..way i see it, is insurance is only going to get more silly so why pay stupid money for something u will never see the full potential of( not on our roads anyway)..good luck deciding

Yeh you have a point,I've had a few sports and they are good cars,I'll probs go with one of them, iam buying a house this year aswel so a turbo would cost abit more,I've had a bug eye gx that was a cracking car I paid 4k for that in march 10,is it me or have prices of scoobies fallen big time

No iam not saying a sport is anything like a turbi when it comes to power, iam just considerering a sport because the insurance is a lot more,I'd love a sti versions but its 1600 quid on a wrx already,1200 on a sport,I just like the look of scoobies having the power does just make it better but running them doesn't,its al due to my postcode really that is causing such an increase,I had a turbo 2000 in 2009 insured with asda for 1200 but oh well

I think you have sort of answered the questions without knowing it mate. You love the looks of the scooby's and power is not your no.1 concern.
Go buy a nice sport and get rid of the polo!!
As there are a few models of the scoob you will never be short of turbo's to look at buying in the future.
Think of the sport as a NCB builder with the looks you are after

I don't even have a explainable reason why i like turbos or Impreza's, i just was naturally drawn to them, obvioulsy the sound, shape... but i would say they found me, i didn't find them if that makes sense, the same with a couple of other things in my life, and i ****ing love them all.
What are you naturally drawn too?
I know people who say they like certains thing, but every other month they are changing their minds, switching cars. No passion to a specific something in my veiw, i would hate to be like that.
Thanks
Sam
