Haha Bennet is a good shout!

However i recon the ultimate bad guy is the T1000 in terminator 2. Old robert patrick!

He plays such a good part! "I know this hurts"

Had to happen some day - law of averages and all that. Would have helped if I could spell Velvet as well

Seriously though it is in my top 5 - one of those films you can watch over and over - always disturbing and never dull. Love how it's shot, the weirdness, the score, the acting .... a modern classic.

Glad we've finally found common ground old boy!

David Lynch always pays pleanty of attention to making his psychos go that extra mile by writing the part FOR the actor. No one but Dennis Hopper could have played that part and got away with it imho.

Having said that, Christopher Walken makes a great psycho too

Classic Frank Booth snippet as he's toking on his gas (PC warning: contains obscentities!)

Agree with you entirely, Someone once said to me that the part would have been better if it had been Robert DeNiro playing it, but much as I like his acting I feel he would have over played it in this instance. What makes Hopper's character so edgy is the parts when he doesn't explode or even say anything when you expect him to - it's the lack of stability and predictability of the character that makes him so dangerous.

I'm going to have to watch it again in the next few days now

Bit contraversial (sp) perhaps but how about Patrick McGoohan (Edward Longshanks), in Braveheart?
