Default Back in a Scoob after a couple of years :)

Hi folks,

As per title I'm back in an Impreza after a foray away to a MK1 Leon Cupra R & then a Merc C43 AMG.

Got rid of the LCR cos at Stage 2 it was just a typical scrabble wagon fwd even with Neuspeed ARB's & full poweflex bushing. Plus as tuneable as the VAG BAM engines are they sound crap.

Merc was lovely & V8 noise with custom stainless was awesome but I missed changing gears manually & missed the feel of a turbo.

So got myself a Bugyeye, thats had a bit of work done to it.

Sorry for the crappy phone pic, will get some better pics up when its hada proper clean and clay bar.

The mods that I can find receipts for are as follows:

Tubular exhaust manifold with heat wrap
De-Cat up pipe
Race Cat
Custom cat back stainless exhaust
Cold air kit
Forge Dump valve
MBC
Andy Forrest remap
Walbro fuel pump
Black Diamond Discs
Redstuff pads
Braided hoses
Eibach springs
KYB shocks
Whiteline droplinks
Front Strut Brace

The car is apparently good to 18psi but is currently running 14psi, no power figures but I'd guess maybe about 240 ish?

I've got a good VF28 off my old STI v5 so I'm thinking of getting this fitted along with some pink 550 injectors & getting and to remap again after the winter.

This should get me around the 300-320 mark I would think, this should get it to a similar performance level as the Leon was but with the handy bonuses of better handling and much nicer sounding engine.

any thoughts/advice welcomed.

Cheers

Mark
