Hi there guys and gals,
Just became the proud owner of a 59 plate WRX S hatch in WR blue today and cant wait to pick her up on tuesday. Just thought I would say hi and join in on this forum. Already been looking how to get a bit more power out of her and would apreciate any advice on the best mods possible being new to the Subaru marque?

Welcome Ryan, Tuesday cant come fast enough then?
What have you had in the past?
If its standard then a good starting point would be a panel filter, walbro pump, 3 port boost solenoid and remap which should come in at less than £500 for everything and see about a 25% increase in power.

Last hot hatch I had was a 53 plate leon cupra tuned to 227bhp but power and front wheel drive dont go to good together on a wet road! and 4x4 since then as a sprog came along but I thought it was about time we put the fun back into driving and the smile back on my face. You say a 25% increase in power so that will see me closer to 300bhp then? as I belive the car is 255bhp at the moment. Is a cold air intake worth a look as a starting point?

Just remember Ryan, you cant just start bolting stuff onto an impreza without considering a remap to support the mods. An induction kit often loses power on these cars and a panel fitler + standard top mount intercooler is good for up to 400bhp if supported with a fuel pump, de-cat exhaust and remap.
You should see 300bhp if you start with the basics as stated before.
