Enjoyed the day but only did 3 runs. Skipped the 4th so I could have a look round. Nice to chat to some friendly scoob nuts inc a welsh chap with a very potent P1 and a dark green bug wrx I raced. Anyone off here? Think I saw yours run Ian V reg grey one?

Best run was 13.88@102mph, first time in the 13s so quite chuffed with that.

We only got one run on Sat due to rain then had a clutch issue after the morning warm up run on low boost.
9.00 was not too shabby though, I'm sure there is an 8 there somewhere!

I was finding if i gave it to much reves, it just spun up 1st, then when i went into second it boged down, its the 1st time i have been out on the s206 turbo, but compaired to my old 20g, i am doing around 8 mph quicker over the line.

my fly wheel is a billet 4.3kg jobby, so if your not spot on with the revs it will bog down more compaired to the standard weight one.

on a couple of runs, i missed a gear, but still didnt lose

i just need to pratice more and it would of helpted if i removed all the crap out of the car

More revs, or slip the clutch more to get rolling. If you dump the clutch with low revs, they just bog, too many revs and it wheel spins too much. Ideally you want a little wheel spin at places like the pod, otherwise you stick too much and bog. Launching on the road is so much easier...

so its trial and error really i just need to keep doing it until i get my launch right, will have to call to york some time ready for the pod next year also get some more power

thanks for the advice mate
