Most specialist insurance should know what it is, but I noticed on my05 cars the mainstream insurance sites list 265 and 305 versions if they don't know what it is just ask for a quote in an sti 305 might help them find it

If your insurer doesn't recognise the PPP then describe it as

1) performance exhaust
2) remap
3) panel filter

Tell them about the Y pipe but they won't care as this mod doesn't pop up on their computer screen, but most importantly you have told them and it is noted.

Most insurers are happy with this and it doesn't affect my premium. This year £325 fully comp all mods declared

Postcode is biggest problem now I think, some companys won't touch certain areas and the ones that will charge more.
