My GF8 WRX has developed a blow on the exhaust and by the looks of it, the flanges at the back box connection are not going to last long so a gasket is not going to be the solution.
It has an STI back box and I'm keen not to fit a noisy new exhaust. I like the way it is.
Does anyone have replacement exhaust parts for sale?
Alternatively, can anyone recommend tasteful replacements?
If you like the current exhaust and the flanges are the only problem why not go to an exhaust place and get some new flanges welded on. Should be cheaper than buying a new exhaust and any decent place would have no bother doing it.
I had a proper look under the car today at an exhaust specialist and the resonator is all but disconnected from the pipe and the second cat also has a leak.
I managed to find this, in case anyone needs to do a replacement of the centre section...
Hey there! You're looking to keep the exhaust in good shape without adding too much noise. If the flanges are the issue, a custom exhaust shop might be able to fabricate a durable replacement that keeps things quiet but functional. As for parts, check with local Subaru specialists or online forums for STI-compatible replacements that fit your preferences. As someone who finds essay writing daunting, I often end up procrastinating. This time, I decided to seek help and found this https://domypaper.com/ platform. The paper was delivered well before the deadline and was written with precision and clarity. It helped me understand the topic better and gave me a much-needed boost in my grades. I’m truly thankful for the professional support I received here.

So this has a silencer, presumably does the same as the existing less one Cat.
I've seen people mention having difficulty getting their cars through and MOT and while I know there's a cat in the downpipe, I'm dubious about losing one?

I've opted for this in the end.

Sprinting Hare advised the price on the website is incorrect and the actual cost is higher, but still hasn't updated the website...
They did offer a discount on after market parts as a gesture of goodwill.
