Default Pole Position uk

Got rear diff lock down kit through post yesterday, rang the lads at Pole Position to see if they could fit me in for fitting. Even though they were flat out i was able to pop round today and they fitted it for me.
Superb service once again.

Can you hear any difference in the diff now this lock down kit has been fitted?

My diff knocks and bangs quite loudly and I've been told it's due to it's solid mounting and subsequent sound conduction...?

The thump between 1st and 2nd is gone completely under hard use.
I do get a small amount of road noise but it does depend on the surface as it's not constantantly noisey.

Ah no, I konw the noise you mean, I've had that before.

What I have is alot of knocking and rattling, especially on overun, plus a whining when crusing. All this when in straight forward driving. The knocking is quite loud - alot louder than the normal reversing noise

I've been told the diff is OK, it's just because the lock bars and solid bushungs are there everything can be heard. After all the plated diff is quite a crude set-up really

Sounds like yours is silent in normal driving...
