Post CDF Brake master cylinder stoppers

Has anyone actually fit one to a classic?

I finally got round to fitting mine, bought in the original group buy, and then loaned back to Chris to use as a template for the 2nd group buy.

Classic owners only that bought from either of the Group Buy's, or direct from CDF; have any been fitted. I've searched high and low for a "How to guide" but couldn't find one.

I have, of a fashion.......

That's why I'm wanting to know if anyone else has fit one , classic only, from either of the group buys.

I have my reasons for asking.

You mean well, but, just STOP!

Read the thread title and stop Googling.

I only want feedback from folk that have the CDF item, not random shite from the internet.

I appreciate you trying to find links, but, they aren't what I'm looking for. That's why the title of this thread is VERY specific.

You want just feedback but from who?

Why you are simply don't contact people from GB via PM?

Good luck with finding people who have this fitted(or non fitted?)

Yes mate I'm Ryan
Well I've got one although it wasn't brought directly off CDF but another SN member who didn't fit it.
I've had a quick look see as to how they are meant to fit and thought I can't really see how it will comfortably tbho, although with that said I haven't gone to actually fit yet as time hasn't allowed.
What seems to be your problem then Mick?
Not knocking CDF of course as it might be me not seeing the true way to fit it yet[haven't any guide] and I have other items of there's that are excellent quality.

I've had mine 4 years or so now Ryan, and only just bothered myself to fit it.

No issue with the quality of it, or anything that Chris has made in the past.

The issue, and probably the reason as to why no one has done a "How to" guide, is that one of the holes is quite a way off.

I marked an X roughly where the hole should be on mine. If they are all the same, then there's no way without re-drilling that they can fit properly. I'm not to sure about re-drilling that close the the edge.

However, I don't know if late classics are different in where the hole in the strut is?

Jura, sorry mate, it had been a long day of scraped knuckles and swearing at my car.

Maybe I should do a fitting guide.

I'll do one the best I can, I didn't take any photo's when I was pulling it apart. Also I'm not sure of what would need removing if a TMIC was in place.
