Hi mate, I haven't fitted one but I was thinking about it so I got a couple of pics off the net:

Hope that helps a bit - let me know if it makes a difference, was thinking about doing this to mine

Cheers

what a piece of crap this is, i thought it would just bolt on. to fit it im going to have remove my alarm and induction kit to drill into the metal thing that connects to the cylinder, how deep im to drill into it im not sure and drilling too far is going to nacker it. and then drill some more holes to fit it to the side of engine bay, which means getting a bolt on the other side somehow.
the cylinder doesnt even move that much when i push on it anyway. dont know if il get it but im going to ask for a refund.

Nightmare agree with you about not drilling things, can be more trouble than its worth sometimes. I've got a set of braided hoses to go on mine, so hopefully that will firm up the pedal a bit - if it makes a big difference I'll let you know. Sounds like they would be easier to fit than this thing as well

Good luck with the refund

Firebug that looks very similar to the one I've got on and it took a bit of working out but it did fit and I only had to retap some holes as they were rusty.
Try getting your misses to start the engine and stand on the brake pedal while you watch the servo and master cylinder....mine moved about a half inch when my misses stood on brakes

I have fitted a couple to mates newage scoobies and they all commented on the improved feel. On the newage it uses bolts for the fuel filter when the car is made for Left hand drive. But have not done one on a classic. You should not need to drill anything, yes maybe clean up a couple of rusted threads that is all.

As said above, you shouldnt need to drill any holes you looking at it right ?

no offence but if you cant manage to fit braided lines no wonder your struggling with the m/c stopper

All bolt holes are there, maybe covered with a black sticker. Easy to fit, bits fiddly in places. Once fitted doesn't feel better on hard braking.

yea looking at the pics of the different types above i could of easily made something at work. i paid £34 for this one. il take a pic of the bits ive got later on.

im a welder/fabricator/fitter so im used to putting things together. the brake lines are stuck solid just now and theres 2 rusty brackets on the back lines i cant get off. dont want to break or round anything off.
