Thumbs up GFB Respons ( BOV ) Arrived Today

Hi all,

well i know that some of you are not bothered about BOV's but i thought i would share a little info of my new purchase.

I have had the Stealth FX before on my past WRX's but they have been discontinued and the Respons is the replacement. but im booked in for a remap in the morning so Ducan can map the car with the new BOV fitted.

from what i can see that the new style provides better throttle responce but we will see.

I ordered the GFB Respons direct from GFB Australia, only took 4 days . I was told that there was none in the UK so maybe im the first to fit to a scooby in the UK

I got the full kit with 2 extra trumpets for differant sounds

and is a direct fit so no messing about . and comes with venting adjustment too .

i will post a quick video up once i have had it mapped in the morning

just got it fitted and yea its a really good bit of kit. still messing with the truppets at the moment but the one on at the moment is so sweat,

as for perfomance it seems as its more responsive on the peddle between gear changes if that makes sense.

o and its loud!!!!!!!!

I too just bought a GFB BOV for me recent build as my OEM recirculating valve was passing.

They are great bits of kit. I have mine dumping to atmosphere right now but I am trying to get it recirculating as the 'chav valve' noise is doing my head in.

Go for it! Dump that metered air to the atmosphere! What can go wrong?

It's not as if it'll cause overfuelling, borewash, and play havoc with any cats, is it?

My problem is that my new intake hose does not have any ports for breathers or the BOV recirc line, so it can only dump to atmosphere until I modify/fabricate a hose.
