A new breed of driver ?
Today saw the sunshine ! No really...
Anyway took a set of wheels round to a fellow S'netter who's selling his.
On my way home I end up behind a young "gel-head" in an "Anniversary Glof", he pulled away from the lights and chucked some soot at me, so I wound up the bugeye and waited... Some time later she hit 2 bar and all hell breaks loose, ( as usual ).
At this point I spy a biker doing a u-turn ahead and back off, then apply more throttle... as "we" reach 60 mph the "Glof" slows, and I nearly ended up in his hatch !
Is that it in these PC encrusted days ? A clear road with no traffic and we all still stick exactly to the speed limit ? Don't get me wrong I'm way to old to be "racing", but where's the fun in squirting to 60 mph and giving up completely ?
Flame suit and extinguisher ready...
dunx
P.S. No trees were harmed in the course of this incident...

Its the modern way.
I once somehow got mixed up with a bunch of whacky racers on a empty dual carriage way, with traffic lights and speed cameras.
Basically, it turned into a series of races to see who could hit 40mph quickest from the traffic lights before the speed cameras
Got bored after the 3rd set of lights as we were joned by some tarted up shopping trolleys wanting to join in (Astra, Civic VTR and a nedded up Misti Galant ).
