Default ENGINE MANAGEMENT LIGHT

Was driving home the other day and my engine management light has come on! Everything seems fine, no weird noises, still boosts ok, no knocking etc but dont know why it has come on! Any ideas?

Youll need to get it read, is it a newage or classic?

Its a 2004 STi, yeah am going to get it plugged in on Saturday morning when i'm off work. The previous owner run it on Total SUL so dont know if it had picked up some ****e fuel somewhere, once i got it i went to the nearest shell station and filled it up with V-Power

It can happen when cornering sharply with an almost empty fuel tank - momentary fuel starvation - was your fuel tank almost empty?

I get this from time to time, the P0420 code - O2 sensor, I think a lot of people have it mapped out.
