To All Involved...

3 days to go - I hope you are all as excited as I am!

Just some clarification on the arrival/start time...

Prior to the event starting, everybody needs to sign in and get kitted out with a race suit, helmet etc. For this reason, everybody should aim to be at the circuit by 12:30 AT THE LATEST! There are over 100 of us attending, and so the process will take some time.
The briefings start at about 13:00, and if you miss it, you may not be allowed to race.

After the briefings will be practice, then the race, then medals etc. Should be all over by 18:00ish.

Food.
I didn't get that many positive responses, but that's OK because the restaurant wouldn't let me do a group booking. They seemed to think they would have plenty of tables, and would rather we just turned up on the day. If anybody wants to make a reservation, the place I recommend we meet is the Caldecotte Arms. It's a nice, large "familly" restaurant next to a lake, just south of Milton Keynes.
This way nobody has to make a commitment to going for food, and you can just decide yourselves on the day.

Yep, all 3 teams from Jordan (and 2 associated ) are very much looking forward to it! And five of us will be racing in full Jordan racing overalls Some of the others already seem to have their own race suits for some reason

Btw I've now been put in charge of karting in the Sports and Social Committee at Jordan, so expect more Jordan vs Scooby karting days .

Dave, I wasn't referring to you - I meant that some of the other Jordan guys have their own race suits (not yellow). Dave, you'll have to wear a distinguishing sign on your helmet so I know you're not really a Jordan driver Perhaps a picture of Homer saying D'oh! as we go past you

Also, a word of warning for people coming to Milton Keynes down the A5... The A5 will be closed this weekend between the A508 and A509 for resurfacing. (from TV this morning). So add a few minutes for using a route around it (which will surely be signposted).

Oi, Beached Halibut, if that's me you are referring to, you didn't have to sell me the suit in the first place..... If it upsets you i'll wear the Red Baron suit instead
