Default Can't get into my car...........

Locks frozen solid, key won't turn and locks don't release when it does go a bit.

It's still freezing hard here, -6 degrees, went down to -12 last night.

I've tried lots of warm water over the door handle/lock but no joy. Looks like it won't be going anywhere until this freeze goes

My locks opened with the fob, but actually opening the door took a far bit of effort lol

Many people are having battery issues, ive fitted 4 this morning all going at the same time, the cold weather will wead out all weak batteries over the next few weeks.

******* delight in the locks and round the door shut mechanism you will be ok. >70% blue window wash concentrate in the waster bottle. the problem at those temperatures is the water content. I keep a "Mr Muscle" type bottle in the car with a >70% solution for my windows in the mornings.

Mine done that the other week, wasn't the battery as the volt meter showed 12.6v, I sprayed WD40 over the engine bay, in particular the electrical connections, waited 5 mins and it started, I assumed it was damp due to the weather we had.

Don't know if it is worth doing on a Scooby for reasons I don't know about though.

Worth putting a smidge of vaseline along the door rubbers to stop the windows sticking to them. They can easily tear when its so cold!

Seen this the other day, car didnt have decent amount of antifreeze and the waterpump had frozen, thus jamming the engine and not letting it turn...

If you have a lightweight/race battery in your T25, this weather will kill it

haha, liking the sound of this as my doors have been stuck shut on two occasions now, a bottle o warm water round window edges sorted that, but this morning i was struck with silence when i turned the key. im thinkin my starter was stuck, a couple of turns of the key and a nudge of the car in gear got it decided to start. twas damn cold mind.
and i got icicles inside my bootlid. theres some quirks to these cars!

So you're saying that smearing vaseline on your rubber makes orifices easier to open?

Fascinating....
