Thoughts to friends and family.
Judging by the skidmarks on the road I hope he was knocked out so didn't feel anything.

I know the road well, very tempting stretch, but limit is only 40 or 50.
Was the van trying to turn right?
Very sad.

awful news
at such a young age as well
The damage on the van and the skid marks look very odd, looks like some one was on the wrong side of the road :S

tragic news, but one thing hits me about that article straight away, and thats the title " a man dies in a collision between a subaru impreza and a van" it smacks of blame on the subaru straight away to me, i can honestly say that i cant remeber the last time i saw a news headline that named the make and model of a car involved, might just be me i guess, but dont like the way it reads personally!!!!

From the damage I would say that a lot of speed was involved. I know the road quite well and I must admit it is one on which I have pushed a little harder than I should have done. Very sad though.
