Default New member looking into buying an impreza

Hi folks, I'm new to the site as i'm looking to change my current car (renaultsport clio 172) to a bugeye scooby. The one I've been looking at is the UK300, went to look at one in derby the other day but it was on a bit too many miles than I'm after.

I'm lookin to spend about 6k so what options are there? what are the differences between the WRX STi and the 300? Which one is seen as the 'better' model?

Also i know insurance isnt going to be cheap at all, but what should i be expecting? im 25 with 1 years NCB, license for 8 years, and 3 points. Insurance really is the deciding factor on wether I go for a scooby, or look into alternatives

Thanks for any help, its much apprieciated

If you have a mrs add her as a named driver, should bring it down a bit

I did this and regret it now. It didnt help when she crashed it and caused a claim on my policy

It's harder to say no when they are already on the insurance!

Look at the top of the page ad on this website:

A-PLAN

They're highly competetive!

+1

In addition to the comparison sites its worth losing minutes off your life by repeating your details over and over trying specialist insurers. Have you tried A-Plan, Keith Micheals, Adrian Flux and Sky Insurance?

Prepare yourself though, as it will probably cost ya

You only have to add her on the policy you dont have to let her drive it. In fact you dont even have to teoll her shes insured to drive it
