Default my scooby 95% finished

hello guys im saz from middlesex been a member of scoobynet for around 6 months now, never really logged on and posted anything , but always visit the site for info etc,
this is my subaru impreza uk spec turbo, was completly standard when i brought it , its taken me roughly around a year and a half to get it to how it looks now.

engine just recently done buy API, dave says it should be roughly 450+ bhp, its had a 2.5l fully forged bottem end , race heads, ceramic coated race headers,6 speed gearbox, bigger turbo etc, i dont know the full spec but will update shortly as soon as i get the spec sheet of api, also still needs to by dyno'd

this is what it first looked like when i brought it :

in process of getting re-sprayed by my old man

in api getting engine , suspension, breaks etc done

and how it look now

still not sure what splitter to put on front, im after a carbon fibre one, any suggestions?

thanks

yeah sure was beef-on-the-bone the hardest bit was hiding the receipts from the mrs

I hope that thing lives in a garage or under a nice cozy car cover.
Apart from the wonky grille it's getting on for Impreza ****.

Congrats on getting sensible rear lights too.

Is it just me that thinks it looked ten times better when he first b(r)ought it? And even that looked crap compared to how it must have looked before the aftermarket rear lights and the **** spoiler. The grille looks like it's been melted! Probably goes like nowt on Earth, but unfortunately looks the same way.

Shame on whoever made the grill.. Point them in the direction of this thread and get a refund! (now tell me your old man lovingly hand crafted it for you lol)

You must have spent a small fortune on that recently!

One thing I'm not getting is the front wings look wide? Or is it just the picture? If they are how come just wide front?
