Default recommend me a turbo.......

for my uk turbo 2000. spec so far
prodrive y pipe
prodrive quickshift
api ported headers and uppipe
green panel filter
full hayward and scott decat from turbo back
standard td04 turbo
still on standard ecu about to be ecutek'd by andy forrest

what turbo would you suggest as an upgrade, like quick spool up and around 320bhp would be nice with similar torque.

vf 34 or 35 or even td05, all will get you in the region of 300 b.h.p plus and even up to 340 b.h.p depending on your mods !!

think i have seen a vf35 on ebay for about £200 or so !!

TD05 16g. Possibly a 18g or VF35, but your problem's always gonna be what your gearbox can cope with

i would recommend scoobyclinics SC36 billet turbo, have it fitted in my car and i am very happy with it, running 340bhp and 360 torques. and it is capable of more power. it was mapped to 350 but they took it down to 340 for more torque. and it was designed with the 2lt in mind as far as im aware.

the scan of the print out is in this link half way down

Hybrid TD04 or a VF28 both are good for 320bhp and have super fast spool up

VF28 or a hybrid TD04 have the cabability to get you near 320bhp.

I'm always crap remembering these thing but I think you'll run out of fuel around the 270bhp mark unless you upgrade the injectors.

18g is too big for his needs, he would destroy his gearbox and melt his pistons at the same time

hybrid td04 it is then. as said above im not after massive power which is going to break my gearbox or bottom end, just a sorted fast useable daily driver. would be happy with 300bhp and 300lb torque.

Very true,£400 for a new hybrid is a good starting point, and is the very same route I was heading down until I picked up a mint vf28 turbo for £150.after having it mapped it made 320 bhp , which suited me just fine.
