If Scooby Clinic owned it last, I would imagine they would know every bit of the car and what it has had done..........
How do you know they owned it last? On log book?

Is it Reg VX54 ? late pre facelifted Blob JDM ? nice cars if it is.

Why would SC tell you to go away, you might be their next customer if they impress

I PERSONALLY wouldnt have anything to do with a car from them, i bought my type r from them and it was a horror story literally and cost me big time in the pocket and they wanted nothing to do with it. I had a real case to claim this back using the legal route but due to family issues it wasnt worth the extra stress.

i think that is honestly the first bad thing i've heard about them, never been there myself but most people seem more then satisfied.

Yeah because many people seem scared to speak up about them because of the flaming they receive on here and peoples blinkered ways. When i posted up my experiences i had a massive respose but via pm. Be warned thats all i will say.

shame that as i thought with it coming from scooby clinic they would of documented it all as a supporting feature to the sale.

Well. I spoke to Kev from Scoobyclinic today and he was more than willing to help. He actually told me the full history of the car. To be honest a lot more than what I was expecting to find out!!

I was defo right. This car has had quite a lot done to it over time. I just wish i could find out what a switch on next to the intercooler water spray button is. I think i am going to have to rip out the dash this weekend.

Might take a trip upto Scooby Clinic soon though, see what else I can find out.

ANyway

Thanks guys and gals!!

I had someone think it was fog lights and i thought it might have been a previous anti lag button. Only time will tell.

Nothing that i can tell?? I did try timing the car from a certain speed in the same gear to a final speed i chose. A few times with the button on and a few times with the button off to see if it made any difference to the pick up. Not 100% convinced, but i think i was getting a second difference between the two, but that could just be human error. I suppose a dyno run will really show if it does!!
