We can't tell you for absolute certain whether that's a 5 or not from those pics. The first STi version 5's were manufactured in September 1998 so it's perfectly legitimate for it to be a '98 registered car and a 5.
There's certainly nothing in those pictures that suggests it isn't a 5. It has the right bumper/grille, climate control, seats etc - although of course all of that stuff can be bolted onto an older car.
However, the one obvious questionmark concerns the claim that it has DCCD. If it does, it has clearly been retrofitted as there's clearly no thumbwheel, and it doesn't appear to have the fairy lights on the dash. If we're to believe the description it's a standard STi5 not a Type RA, so it should have a viscous centre diff as standard. Always possible that the current or a previous owner has retrofitted a DCCD box and either left the diff unpowered or used a third party controller. Either way you'd want to know before considering buying.
If you want to know for sure whether it's 5 (or whatever), ask the owner to post up a pic of the engine bay, or tell you what the applied model code is.

cheers.

If in doubt, walk away, too many sh1tters out there or trying to con you
As split said, dccd on a v5 sti, no wheel, abs? (dccd classics dont have abs as it wont fit), give this one a miss and find a decent one.
