Default Which Tyres - Proxes or Parada's?

As title, which tyres do you recommend, Toyo Proxes or Yokahama Parada's? 17" for my classic if that makes any difference!?

Thanks in advance

My choice in order and I have used and tracked all 3 on a classic with 17" wheels would be

Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta, Toyo Proxes, Yokahama Parada's

But that might just be me, alot of my mates really like the Paradas I never got on with them though.

very very good. They performed well for me at CastleCombe when it was pouring down with rain. No loss of grip. In fact i would prefer to have them on in the wet than any other tyres i've tried. Slightly different story in the damp though. But CC is not a good track for damp conditions.

Proxes T1R are ordinary, nothing special, i would not swap 12 of them for 4 vreddys

Have not tried Yokos but have not heard good reports on scoobys

I've tried RE040, RE050, P Zero Rosso, GSD3 and Yokohama Parada Spec 2s on 3 Imprezas. The Yokohamas are easily as good as GSD3 in the dry, far less squeal and they coped fine in 6 inches of snow, better than GSD3s in fact.
The only area they are not as impressive is in damp conditions. I'll probably go for the Sessantas next time, Toyos never impressed me on my T5 Volvo, they were nothing special, especially when compared to GSD3 in the dry.
From your op, I'd go Yoko...

I currently have the new Yokohama Parada Spec 2's on my car and I'm very impressed with them. The grip levels are superb and I've had no problems with them in the wet either . Only £75 odd per tyre from Camskill so an absolute bargain I think

got T1R and parada on my golf vr6 race car.

T1R wear very quick, too quick, so we went for the parada this time, only 2 , the T1R are now on the back, after a couple of sprints and a day at castle combe i can tell the paradas are now going to be our first choice.

we did have 888s on the front but they went to the wire after 26 miles yes, it does get driven hard lol

also tried Nankangs , forget them for a game of soldiers.

Yokahama Parada's work for me, not great in the wet but very good in the dry.

I run the paradas and i think they are pretty average. Seem to last well for Yoko's. But for me pump in the wet, superpump on dirt, gravel and snow. Decent only in the dry, but most half decent tyres are. Only reason i got em was cause of a deal. Will be happy to replace them soon.
