Tsk, how rude, bigarf

It can also be indicative of water IN the car. When mine did it it was after I had a new windscreen. It wasn't sealed and water was getting in

Also, check coolant levels, and carpets in the front for damp/tasting of antifreeze: shows the heater matrix is fekked: awful prob to fix, either expensive or a major ball-ache to do yourself.

It can also be damp in the boot area, or a rear screen leaking causing damp in the boot, the rear parcel shelf and the rear seat

Had all the above except the heater matrix.

I've had this of late due to the brassic weather, and me not kicking slush off my feet. My windows misted on the inside and froze, so bad that the electric windows stalled-out, so I had to hurridly press the "UP" end of the rocker-switch, to avoid a burnt-out winder. Minus 3 to 5 deg C has been enough to stick the drivers door rubbers with ice, also the petrol filler hatch, and the cap stuck to the plastic umbilical device. My front 2 doors make an icy scrapy noise as they bounce a little on their hinges,-- could be iced window seals or door seals. maybe some silicone grease on rubbers wound help.
Last tuesday my wife's Aygo got its remote door-locks frozen, and I had to resort to a gas lighter to heat the outer lock plate, and use the key manually, so I did that to both locks. (car is 1 year old,-- must put some 3-in one oil in the locks.)
