Welcome to Scoobynet Dean,
Doesn't matter that it's not a Turbo.....apart from if you do some track day's then you'll be lagging behind unfortunately .
Enjoy it pal

If you do get the scoop...as it's a none turbo I'd try a "reverse" scoop style so it help's to let more hot air out of your car. Plus it's more unique then

I wouldn't bother with the scoop mate. It's a sport, enjoy it for what it is and NOT for trying to make it look lik something else.

Also sticking it on backwards won't 'really' serve any purpose, unless you have a front mounted inter cooler hiding under the bonnet?

Welcome to SN.

Like I said it will help hot air escape from the engine...that's a purpose!
I wouldn't bother with it myself either but it's all a matter of preference and making the car your own whatever you do.

Hence the reason why I said 'really' in inverted commas, just to highlight that it's won't - 'really'- do *much*. Looking at it from a perfmorance point of view I suppose it will help slightly, but it won't make any noticeable improvement with the overall performance of the car.

If it was a turbo, and it had a front mount, then yes it would make a difference.

Yes mate, by Martley.

I used to baffle the boy racers by doughnuting in my spec c.

To be fair there used to be a good collection of high calibre cars in Worcester, Escort cossies(un chaved) M3's couple of nice scoobs and other jap cars.

I have been out of the scene for a while now, but thinking about scoobs again!!!!
