Question

Hi all

Could anyone point me in the right direction to purchase a quantity of oil for my new WRX

Was wanting either:

Motul 300V 15w/50
or
Castrol RS 10w/50
or
Mobil1 15w/50

Need enough for at least 8 oil changes...2 cars to do every 3k / 3months.

How many Ltrs per oil change?

Would a dealer let me supply my own oil for servicing?

If any contact details for a wholesaler I would be willing to buy a pallet full if the price was right!

Cheers

BOB

Demon Tweeks do all 3 types.
Halfords do Mobil 1 15W-50 and they used to do Castrol RS 10W-60
but now only do 0W-40 which is no good.

Castrol RS 10W-60 is becoming hard to find, I would be interested in buying from a wholesaler as well if someone has a contact.

Mobil 1 is £25 for 4 litres at Costco.

But you shouldn't change the oil that often - especially not fully synthetic on a new car. It'll never run in.

I would spend the saving on the rather nice Dom Perignon they do at £45 a throw

I'm an ex vehicle technician and have seen both sides of the coin.
IMHO you cant change oil too often.

It is my intention to change the oil every 3k or 3 months. The cost's involved are low and I will do it myself. Doing my mates scoob as well hence the extra oil.

Only need to find a supplier for the oil, prefer the Motul.
Thought if I could buy it wholesale, I could share it with other scoob owners.
Going to call in to see my old mates in the trade and check with their suppliers.
If I get a good deal I will let others know

Thanx Mike

I'd seen your site already...I'm too tight to pay £37.60 inc VAT

But Motul IS the oil I would prefer...

How about giving me a price for x25 of them? or x50 ?

You can email a figure to me if you want...

BOB

ps I can collect
