Check gearbox, gear changes, clutch (put it into 4th, 5th etc and try moving off to see if there is any slip).

If you can afford to, pay to get an RAC/AA check done, worth the peace of mind.

Looks like a minter, always had a soft spot for UK300's

It's a new age so it shouldn't suffer the problems classic engines do. There's only part history here, so I'd want evidence the recent services have been done properly, especially the oil in the diff being changed The price doesn't seem OTT either, which is strange for Pistonheads.

Im selling my uk300 because i want something more refined. Ive only had it about 10 days but its just not me.
The car has never had any engine mods. Ive fitted a cat back system which is only a week old which sounds lovely.
Sounds funny walk away, says wants refinement but fits a cat back exhaust, after havin the car just 3-4 days, then sells or wants to sell after 10days'ish this car may have big probs.

Agreed with scooby1doo1 plenty out there buy with you eyes wide open mate, also dont think with that mileage its cheap, they are not that special. Look on autotrader plenty of bugs less than 5k with nice extras.

must be something wrong with it - he's bought it and mostly likely found a major problem with it and is now trying to get shot of the thing....

as said already, the "want something more refined" excuse is a load of rubbish if he bought it and then immediately fitted a cat back system.

plenty of others around

Also it's listed as a 2001 uk 300, someone correct me if i am wrong but I didn't think they made a uk300 in 2001 ?

Also I thought the uk300's have a badge on the boot ?

is the car a uk300 or a wrx dressed up as a uk300 ?

Walk away m8, sounds abit fishy to me, plus there are afew out there with lower milage.

It looks about right for a uk300 apart from the head lights.

These are uk300:

AFAIK the UK 300 had a plaque on the dash giving the number.. (1 don't think there was a number 13 so the last was 301)

Should have stickers on front wings and boot. Plaque on passenger side of dashboard and black and blue seats/door cards. Prodrive headlights, wheels, rear spoiler and front splitter. Id imagine most if not all had the PPP fitted too.
