Default Subaru centre pod size

Loooking for a centre pod, i'm not warming to the wavy style sold by Scooby mania, clinic et. The only flat one i can find for a MY04 is the official subaru pod http://www.subaru.co.uk/IMGGB/WWW/su...E?Opendocument

I like this as its simple and will match the dash nicely, but i'm not paying £600 for the guages! What i was thinking was making and fitting an aluminium blanking plate in and fitting 3 autometer guages, but i'm not sure they will fit in the gap. Does anyone know, or can they please measure up the avaialable gap to see if 52mm guages will fit.

Thanks
austen

The standard Subaru Guages are 52mm so you should have no problem fitting them
