Edited to say that the original first post has vanished (BBS bug), so for full details look on the newer thread! /R

------

Yowch - serious numbers of people required then...

You can put me down as a 'definitely if I'm around' person, and I can probably get together another 3 or 4 too. Daytona's another good track, like Whilton Mill, so it would be a good laugh.

How about inviting one of the other owners clubs too? Maybe the Cossie boys? Or (as they're a bit out of favour at the moment ) maybe the Lotus or Mitsi lot?

Cheers
Richard

Bitten - I'll put you down for a possible team.

Blade - you too.

SIBBO - I've put you down as a possible two teams

Elvis - Thank you very much. One possible team for you.

Does anybody know how to get TABs into posts?

Cheers, Dave.

Anybody else, please feel free to express interest as an individual if you don't feel you can supply a whole team.

Currently, this thread is only to gauge the level of interest.

Well how can I refuse a challenge like that ?

Should be able to raise 1 or 2 teams. Need to lose a few Xmas pounds first (that's always my excuse for Lisa going faster )

Awaiting further details.

Cheers

I can easily get a team - just depends on the date as we work shifts. As soon as u get a date I can confirm 100%. Im assuming this is us all using provided karts and we aint gonna have budding schumachers with carbon fibre 2million cc karts with disc brakes all around, turbo chargers, NOS etc racing us peons on lawnmower karts???

Put us down as "Eat Our Zorst Fumes" for now until I think of something a tad more witty.

As it's on my doorstep, I'd be silly to say no.

Count me in.

Seems like there may be enough interest, although I would rather get 25 interested teams before I pay a probably HUGE deposit.

Possible dates:
Earliest would be 16th/17th March
23rd/24th is possible
30th is the Bedford track day (so that's out )
31st would mean the whole weekend taken up for people going to the Bedford track day (may be a bit too much)
6th/7th April is possible
13th April is out if I get tickets for Man Utd vs Arsenal
14th April is possible, but I would rather not
20th/21st April is fine.

Then it's getting a bit far off.

I'll also be liasing with Stef regarding the upcoming SIDC Karting day at Whitton Mill, to ensure the events don't clash and are not too close together.

My personal preference is to do it as early as possible as I think people are then less likely to drop out.

As stated at the start of the thread, I'll give it a week or so to gauge interest, and if there is enough, I'll see what dates are available.

Any feedback on preferred dates would be appreciated, but please realise that with so many people required to make the day possible, somebody is going to be dissappointed.

Can't do 31/3, 6-7/4, 13/4 and 16/17 March won't give you time to get it sorted out and money in, believe me . Other dates fine though

Cheers
