The hawk's are watching!
So it's about 3.30pm today and i'm driving onto yet another industrial estate (M1 J27) to do the daily ritual of collecting parcels when I notice there's a police incident occuring just at the entrance to the estate (some woman having her car torn to pieces on the side of the road, probably under the guise of the Anti-Terrorism bill, poor cow).
Loads of police around and then I spot them,2 very nice looking blue Hawkeye Impreza's (possibly GB270/300's)parked next to a panda car.At first I think that maybe they are the cause of the police presence then i notice in the windscreen of one of them there is a red/blue flashing light giving the game away.B*$t*rds.
Now to say these two Impreza's were in stealth mode is an understatement. No markings,no lights(except those on the dashboard),no aerials, nothing. If I had not seen the lights flashing then I would never have known that these 2 Impreza's were police car's.Luckily I did so that may have just saved my licence in the future.
I guess what I'm saying is,next time you see a blue hawkeye and fancy trying it on,just take a very close look before you do as it may not only be the race you end up losing.
