As long as you buy good oil any greese monkey can do it for you.

Just make sure they fill the filter with oil before they fit it. It takes a while to soak in as well. Other than that, its same as any car.

Aye, it's easy enough. I did an oil change on my little Pug GTi other day. Ok different car, but same sort of procedure. Just need a good tool for getting the oil filter off, if it's in a troublesome position like it is on my car.

Might be worth looking here for the DIY approach.

i would ideally like to do it myself but i have no mechanical knowledge at all no tools or garage/driveway i envy people who do, must be a great feeling to know a jobs been done properly! can i take my own oil and filter to a garage and just pay for labour?the service was done by api but its a bit of a trek for a simple oil change.

Trust me, just because you may do something yourself it dont mean it's done properly

We're happy enough to fit customers own oil on oil changes and in fact most parts - providing that they do not figure on a ' junk ' list. We draw the line at internet bought engine parts, as it muddies the waters about who is responsible for what should the engine go wrong.

I am happy to put a warranty on our work and parts we supply but cannot warrant other parts supplied by the customer for quality or performance.

Oil and filter change here, while you wait is £90.00 + VAT [ £ 105.75 inc ]

If you want the ' small ' Subaru general service that is £120.00 + VAT [ £141.00 inc ] That is basically an engine oil change and filter change plus check and top up all other liquids. We also include a select monitor check.

Prices include all necessary parts - IE no extras.
