Default oil filter/oil...!!

hi all

am looking at an oil change and just wonder whats the best oil filter to fit.. (wrx 02)

oem subaru from dealer
one of theses blitz.....Blitz UK: Products > Engine Tuning > Racing Oil & Filters > 18706
or possibly a performance k&n one...

any thoughts...also whats the best oil to put in an 02 wrx with 50,000 miles on the clock,i have been told mobil 1 or millers is the best to put in 5w-30w..the car is used daily but does get a good blast 1 or 2 times a week on quiet country roads....any help would be most helpfull..

I bought an oil filter and sump plug washer from a dealer on friday, cost around £8

Have a look i your car manual mate and just get what ever is says in there

just been reading that thread.....its more confusing than ever...

looks like oil is a personnel choice thing

If you are having problems with your oil choice go to a web site called Opie oils put your car details in and hey presto!
Also if you speak to them on the phone they should give you an extra discount
