Default hi peeps !!!!!!! The Woodz is here !!!!!

hi all . just thought id join up now ive got my self a scooby .

here is a couple of pics





ive had 80 cars now and ive always got bored quick and changed motors . ive mostly had fords cos they are cheaper to fix and run etc but i wanted something turbo'd , power steering etc and it was either a scooby or a cossie and the cossie were loasd of money for oldish cars and while i started thinking of a scooby , i saw this one and just loved it !

i will post up some more about me etc but im just on my way out , but i thought id say Hi !!!

hope you lot are friendly !!!!!

yoo bought roosies one in the end

change the cav mods mate and you will have a nice car, ps: rads fixed so when ever you wanna pop over and take mine for a spin the offer is still there so you can compare !

welcome fella. get rid of the stoopid rear lights and maybe put some 17-18" wheels on. 19 must be terrible for handling.

good evening ginge . i couldnt help but buy it lol . he was visiting some one near me so we met up and then i went away and had a think and then bought it the next day . i love it . im getting rid of the rear lights, just want to see what options i have for diff ones .

they are 18's on it mate not 19's

and i reckon the power is pretty standard .

i just love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

be even better when i get some rear number plate lights lol

Welcome to the forum. Power has to be over standard, you have a front mounted intercooler which would suggest some further mods. I would dispense with the bonnet scoop as it is slowing you down with the drag. Infact watch your bonnet at high speed, the drag is pretty horrendous almost like a big air brake.

Your scoop would normally reside on a blobeye STi - would look much better with a traditional classic scoop

ignore the " drag " issue people are saying about, ive done 150 in my scoobie with a ****ING UGLY scoop on it after a certain speed the air actually goes round it as it cant fill the hole quick enough, it does cause drag but not enough to worry you about due to the actual shape of the car anyway

Was that on the infamous private road He doesn't need the scoop anyhow because he has a FMIC. At LEGAL speeds the scoop does cause a lot of drag.

Love ing the car fella, Likeing the look of that front end too.
You'll find theres lots of ppl who cant stand certain aftermarket parts.
The end of the day if YOU lke it well sod what anyone else thinks.

cheers for the comments peeps . i love the look of the motor . im gonna remove the front lip and get it put back on properly cos at the moment its selanted on . and its been cut to fit the FMIC . im gonna change the rear lights when i find some nicer ones . im not clued up on scoobys so im not sure whats out there.

im gonna get some aero catches for mine just cause it does worry me but honestly it stops moving when you go faster for some reason,,,, still worried though

btw mine was on the autobahn in germany ( and most other roads in europe too pmsl ) when i got this speed

also got to 140 on the fast section of the ring,,,,, for a small small moment
