Question

Has anyone used ArmourFend or ArmourLight? I have just taken delivery of a “new age” WRX and would like to protect the paint and lights, but not if there are any risks/drawbacks. Does it affect Subaru’s warranty?
My wife has just washed it and the front is chipped already
Thanks

Armourfend is very very good.
You can even have the top of the rear bumper done for when your loading shopping

Armourfend comes very well recommended, and indeed is now standard on some P1 panels!

As for dangers, well, if you put it on the headlights it may protect 'em, and surely you don't want that?

In all seriousness, top stuff. If I could find someone in the North to fit it, it'd be straight on mine.

I got my car done with a better material and for a fraction of the price. I think Armourfend is way overpriced imho.

I had Armourfend make me some covers for my Cibie spots as the plastic covers don't fit. As of yet no problems at all, its very easy to put on. They claim to have tested the over light material (which is thicker than the body covering) with an air rifle at various distances.

A guy called Mark, can't remember the company name, but he does a fantastic job at a fraction of the price. I shall ask for a contact number if you want. Everybody who has seen it has commented on how good it is,
Cem

Chiark,
The lights are growing on me but I would be interested in upgrading the lights to those seen in the STI pictures on the internet.

Thumbs up

Cem,

can you get the contact details for me too? I considered Armourfend too but just thought it was a rip off, practically the same price as a respray!

Cheers,

MS.

Wink

Yeah Cem, but does it stop old ladies repeatedly reversing into the front of your car and scratching it??
