Claying / Polishing Car with Armourfend
Just about to order the Jeffs acrylic polishing kit for my new car, but was wondering how I should approach the areas with armourfend protection. Car will also be 'clayed' and again wasn't sure how to approach the areas that have armourfend applied?
Any advice gratefully received!
As an aside, what's the best cloth to use to apply Poorboys Leather Cleaner on the interior?
Cheers

Armourfend can be lightly clayed with a mild clay like Meguiars Quik Clay or Detailing Clay Mild, and all of the Jeffs products can be used on it without any problems; Jeffs Prime Acrylic actually cleans up dirty Armourfend a treat. Just always be careful not to buff into the edges too firmly, just in case of causing any lift. For applying Leather Stuff, I favour these pads...

Cheers for the info Rich... much appreciated.
Will the acrylic kit remove any minor swirls, just been looking closely at the paintwork and there's feint traces of swirling
... if not, any other recommendations... the car's 'brilliant metallic silver' (TVR).
Thanks again

PS. Incoming order tomorrow!!

No, the Jeffs products have no real cut on hard paint, just excellent cleaning power. To nip out the swirls you'll be needing Menzerna Intensive Polish and a German Applicator Pad, plus plenty of arm strength and stamina.

yep I have Armourfenf applied to my car, but have not clayed or waxed it really, just usually maskover the leading edge overlapping the Armourfend, just to avoid possible lifting, but might tryclaying it as it has never been done before
