Location of Defi controller
My Defi control unit is currently in the glove box but I'm having problems with keeping it in a fixed position - how difficult is it to relocate it to replace the cup holder or ashtray?
Any help/suggestions for alternative locations appreciated.

I put mine between the passenger seat and the centre console stuck on with strong velcro. Visually out of the way but still easy to reach if required.
Personally I think it's a fairly ugly looking unit and didn't want it in the dash where the cup holder is.

Thanks for the replies.
It was stuck in the glovebox using double-sided sticky stuff but has now fallen off (breaking the oil temp wire in the process - hopefully it will have enough slack behind it to fix it).
I think I'll keep in the glovebox for now and try some velcro instead.

I've now refitted it in the glovebox using some super-strength velcro - hopefully it will stay put this time
I managed to get the broken oil temp connector out of the control unit but can't now reattach the wires - will I need to replace the whole wire or can a new connector be fitted? (I'm hoping the latter is possible)

Yeah, it's the small connector on the wire that plugs into the controller that I need - it has snapped off - I tried to fix it but it's far too small for my fat fingers
I need a connector with a short length of wire already connected (2 wire) and I'll use a connecting block to join it to the wire from the sensor.
