Classic or newage ?
Any exhaust system mods done with the remap ?
If classic do a search for how to get the CEL code by using the connectors under the dash, If newage then needs OBD-II cable and software to read code.
I'm sure the mapper will look at it for you.

You can check the CEL code yourself before setting off. That will tell you if you will have any problems driving it.
I think this is the correct procedure for a classic - I have a newage.

this seems a better guide

I know new ages better, but I guess classics are the same:- up-pipe EGT probe dying is quite common, as is the "high emmissions" signal from the rear O2 sensor (although that normally appears when going at a steady 70-80 rather than first appearing at start up), and a recurrent misfire code due to the neutral position sensor failing. There are also shed loads of codes for a sensor being out of range (i.e. it's gone either open or short circuit), and a lot of them won't cause major problems. In summary, could be any number of things, many of which really aren't that serious. Check the code and if you can't find the list (IIRC Andy F posted a huge long list a couple of years ago) post it up here and someone will answer what it is.
