Cool

Fierce dolphin doesn't have quite the same ring to is as pracing horse or raging bull does it?

What next? The "Rather agitated Squirrel"?

Good news, but it does add to the "promotion stunt" idea that was mentioned before.

Exclamation

"But it turned up in a police pound in Chelsea where it had been taken after being clamped. "

I think a few BBS members can sympathise

Exactly the same happened to a friend who bought my Wifes old 205 GTi.

You have to wonder whether the clamping companies (or owners )will get done for wasting police time.

The bonnet scoop on the Delfino looks very Impreza like, and I read that its 4-wheel drive. Does it use the Impreza drive train?

Lunchie,
yup, uses the (I think!) impreza chassis, and definitely the engine. Rather cool little car. There was talk about them using the STi or P1 engine, thus nigh on 280bhp, mmm nice! but think IM would not supply the P1 engines to them, not sure though. In standard trim it'd be quite rapid though.

Now, to buy one then to mod it, nice! that would be fun!

Hmm. Allard? I e-mailed you about clamping the day it was nicked!!!!

Glad it's been found though

Uses a shortened Impreza chassis, same 4wd system; demo car had standard UK engine but with HKS breathing mods, dump valve etc, still managed sub-4s to 60

Red face

Nice for the car to be found ok.
But £200k worth and how much for a kit car when they come out? This is just an ad pr stunt! ..and where are they gonna find a lot of very low mileage sti's as donor cars or are they gonna use the new generation impreza. Subaru uk can't shift the wrx or the sti7 after initial demand is met so is this the much needed donor?

Now the "NOBLE" is a real car. It looks nice and is great value for money. Its designer had class. This thing is a cheap looking kit car.

I know its a matter of taste...

But i wonder if the story was investigated, what they would find???

Do Noble not make the M10 any more? More affordable than the M12, and a real Elise rival. I've seen the same one twice on the A120 now -- not much danger of needing an 'M10 wave'
