squeaking noise from steering
hi again all,
after getting my new turbo 2000 yesterday I've discovered when the car is cold and i steer sharply the car makes a squeaking noise - it sounds like when a fan belt is warn out but it only happens when the engine is cold and when I try to steer sharp.
Any idea what this is guys? I bought the car privately, so it's not like I can take it back to the dealer or anything - seems to be fine once the car has warmed up.
Thanks

p/s belt or pulley - either tighten the belt cus it's slipping or grease the pulley (do not use WD40 as this may sort it for a while but then make things worse as it will clean any grease you had left on it)

this might help https://www.scoobynet.com/general-te...ten+p%2Fs+belt
I have the same problem on a uk turbo 2000 (2000 model)
I can't seem to find any pics on the net of the location of this; I'm a novice at engines..
