feckin typical
one of the 'parts' required got damaged in transit. the job was supposed to be done monday, which ran into tuesday.
so today, the new part was supposed to be delivered. it arrived at 5.40pm, the mechanics go home at 6pm.
so the job will be finished tommorrow now, pics taken tommorrow night, developed friday morning, scanned and published friday night.
sorry for the hold up, not my fault.....but they will be worth the wait

Thing is I saw an R34 GTT for under £14k and was quite interested, after all it is 280bhp too... After getting the facts, I'm sure I'm not going to buy a GTT, definately R33GTR, and as I've just found out they want to keep me employed for a while longer, the R34GTR fund looks promising too
Seen, the white one (£15k or £16k with 2yr warranty), but worried about the mileage - not sure if it is genuine!
Abbey, seem to have the best car at the moment - £15k for an 96N with steel turbos, but no other goodies and 55k is a bit more than I want. The car I should of bought is the one Guy Ratcliffe was selling, but I missed it for the second time...

Jon as Spudgun said.. NO!
I know the 34 shape looks the daddy but you know there is only one reason thet the GTT 34 is £15k and the cheapest GTR 34 is £38K (If you find one). Thats because apart from body they just aren't the same.(no offence to any GTT/GTS owners!)
Go the GT-R 33 route like us its the way fwd, you will find 280 BHP in a car with that weight not as quick as you may think!
FYG I have all my work done by Abbey MS and if you ask them about decatting the car and putting an induction kit on her before you buy i bet/know they will come up with a good deal. Certainly a better one that having the parts put on at a later date. They are holding second hand exhausts and other parts that have been replaced (I know because they have my Fujitsubo exhaust down there and it'll be cheap).
Regards Ian Sutton GT-R33 (390 BHP dark Blue met)
May see you guys on Saturday..Grasshopper meet 11.30 (5 mins from Abbey!!)

Ian, don't worry I'm not going down the GTT route...
Abbey's car would be great, but I don't fancy my chances of selling a 70-80k skyline in 12-18 months - There are two on the gtr.co.uk page that seem reasonably priced but just aren't selling, so for that reason I'd prefer to buy a lower mileage model.
As said I'll be calling about the white one today...

how did u get on with the white 'un?
why are meets always on a bleedin saturday when i'm working? i only get sundays off. if anyone knows of any decent meets on sundays, please let me know.
as far as the pics go, good news and bad news.
it looks sensational, IMHO, but i took the pics at 4.45pm today, got 'em rush developed, but they look crap. does anyone know how to get good results taking pics in the dark? it MUST be in the dark
i will endeavour to get this sorted asap.
by the way, i'm at power engineering on wednesday the 2nd of jan, for a dyno run...anyone fancy popping along to see me go bang?
