Default how is my bonnet scoop held on?

Hi, noticed my scoop is a little loose on my classic. Don't fancy seeing it dissapear on the motorway! I can't really see how its held on without taking the insulation off under the bonnet, are they just glued or what?

I've also noticed on someone elses scoob that there were some grills in the scoop where mine is empty, is this right or do i need some grills?

If they are secured the same as a newage which i think they prob are, remove the undertray and you should see around 8 blots that hold the actual scoop on.

On my classic they are little bolts. I've had mine off for a respray, as the laquer came off it

Lacquer is coming off mine too, i noticed last weekend. I've had a replica STi8 scoop that I have just painted, so time to fit that methinks!
